Books, CDs, DVDs, and vinyl records can be expensive, and you are probably tired of a few of the ones you have. Now is the time to trade it for something else at The Kennesaw Book, CD, DVD, and Vinyl Record Swap. Simply drop off your gently used hardcover or paperback books, music CDs, vinyl records, and DVD movies on Thursday and Friday before the event, and receive a ticket redeemable for the same number of items during “open swap” time on Saturday.
Books must have both the front and back covers intact and be in good condition. DVDs, CDs, and vinyl records must be in their original cases and fully operable. Please do not bring any magazines, software, VHS or cassette tapes, adult content, or any unauthorized or illegal material. All items remaining after the swap will be donated to a local charity.
Please keep in mind that this is not a book sale. Items will not be available for purchase during this free media swap. After the event, all unclaimed items will be donated to charitable organizations.

Book Swap Rules
- Books must have their front and back covers intact and be in good condition.
- Items must not have any writing, coloring, or other damage to the exterior or interior.
- Books must be free of water damage.
- Textbooks and manuals will not be accepted if they are 2 years or older.
- CDs, DVDs and record albums must be in their original cases and fully operable.
- Items will be arranged by subject and available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
- This is not a book sale. It is a free media swap.
- This swap is not for commercial use.
- Items will not be available for purchase.
- Please screen all selections according to your own standards.
- The City of Kennesaw Parks & Recreation Department is not responsible for the content or condition of any of book, CD, vinyl or DVD.
- Any items left after the swap will be donated to a local charity.
- It is up to the discretion of the event staff to accept/deny any items.
