The Museum of History and Holocaust Education (MHHE) is a museum dedicated to preserving the history of the Holocaust and promoting awareness and education about the events of that time. The museum was founded in 2011 and is located on the Kennesaw State University campus.
The MHHE features a range of exhibits, artifacts, and educational materials that document the history of the Holocaust, including its causes, events, and aftermath. The museum’s collection includes photographs, documents, and personal testimonies from survivors and witnesses of the Holocaust, as well as artifacts such as concentration camp uniforms, identification badges, and other objects that illustrate the experiences of those who lived through this traumatic period in history.
In addition to its permanent collection, the MHHE hosts a range of temporary exhibits, educational programs, and events throughout the year. The museum’s mission is to promote understanding and tolerance, and to encourage visitors to reflect on the lessons of the Holocaust and the importance of human rights and social justice.
Admission to the MHHE is free, and the museum is open to the public Monday through Friday. Guided tours and educational programs are available for groups and schools, and the museum also offers a range of resources for educators and researchers, including online exhibitions, teaching materials, and research collections.
