The Kennesaw Business Association will be hosting a Candidates Forum on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at the Ben Robertson Community Center, 2753 Watts Drive in Kennesaw. Doors will open at 6 pm; the discussion will begin at 6:30 pm. This forum will give Cobb County voters the opportunity to hear candidates talk about the issues.
The forum will be moderated by WBS Radio’s Pete Combs. Each candidate will be given a chance for opening remarks, followed by a question and answer period using questions predetermined by the organizers as well as some submitted before the forum by audience members. Short closing remarks will also be permitted by each participant.
Invited guests include candidates for the Cobb County Board of Education, Post 4; Cobb County Commission District 1; Cobb County Commission District 3; State House of Representatives District 34; and U.S. House of Representatives District 11.
Candidates are encouraged to remain for one-on-one dialogue with constituents following the forum.
